Once a teacher, always a teacher. Since leaving the classroom, I’ve written several in-depth curriculum guides for ALEE. These guides provide thorough resources to support teachers in novel instruction. I always love working with clients on educational materials because it allows me to keep in touch with my inner pedagogy nerd.

That’s not the only place where I get my teaching fix. As the publications director of the Indiana Council of Teachers of English, I moderate their website and blog, create monthly newsletters, and help plan their annual conference. It’s meant the world to me to continue using my skills to support my fellow educators after leaving classroom teaching.

I’m also a teacher-consultant for the Indiana Writing Project, where I run professional development sessions for teachers and run writing workshops for students across the state. If you need educational materials created, I can make it happen
